Born in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1978, Shahid Kabir has established himself as one of the leading voices in contemporary abstract art. His work has been exhibited internationally in galleries across Asia, Europe, and North America.
Kabir's artistic journey began at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, where he developed his unique visual language that merges Eastern philosophical concepts with Western abstract expressionism. His work is characterized by layered compositions that explore the relationship between memory and perception.
